DUTCH BABY

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 3/4 cup whole milk

  • 3 large eggs

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest




Directions

  • Preheat oven to 450°

  • Place butter in a 10-inch cast-iron skillet, and place skillet in oven to melt butter.

  • Mix milk and eggs until smooth.

  • Add flour, granulated sugar, and zest; process until smooth.

  • Pour batter into melted butter in hot skillet.

  • Bake until golden brown and set, 12 to 15 minutes.

  • Serve immediately; garnish with fresh fruit and maple syrup
